Gwilym Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 (edited) Let's try again, my original FS thread: http://basschat.co.u...e-gs5-withdrawn Superb and rare bass. Not sure how many were made, but I've only ever seen 4 for sale, and 2 of them became mine. This is the only one I've seen with a matching head-stock. Selling some gear now to make space, and longer term I'll prefer the dual-coils on my other bass vs the fat-stacks on this one. Been my main bass for a good while, and there's nothing not to like, and a steal at this price IMO. £1000 + shipping Edited April 26, 2014 by Gwilym

E.Tbba Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) What are the big differences with an MTD 535 ? I love this bass but if I want to buy it I need to sell my MTD 535 first... Edited April 21, 2014 by E.Tbba

The pups don't have the wide frequency range of the MTD, and IMO the Glock preamp is more open/natural sounding than the MTD pre. I think the MTD has what I can best describe as a slightly compressed tone. Edited April 21, 2014 by Gwilym
