Westie9
I quite like the idea of getting rid of my pedalboard, mounting my pedals in a rack (2u draw?), and using some form of foot controller (something like the Tech21 Moose?) to turn the required pedals on and off.... As an all in one 'box of tricks', I'm thinking of a 4u shallow rack consisting of the 2u draw of pedals (I only use about 4/5 so plenty big enough), a rack tuner of some description and a rack wireless system (possibly the Line6 G55). Why? I've got OCD of people trampling over my leads and worried in case my pedals either get pinched or wedding guests spilling drinks all over them. The least amount of gear I can have out front the better. There doesn't appear to be much choice for rackmounted bass effects other than those primarily used for guitars (G a Major etc). Is what I'm looking to do achievable within minimal fuss? Any better solutions? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
NoirBass
I had the same OCD and opted for this system: http://www.voodoolab.com/commander.htm Watch the videos! Works a treat and you can just have the commander up front.
