Annoying Twit
Are there any audible examples of MP basses with active preamps? Also, is this a realistic depiction of the sound of the MPJ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnYbQMyF6I8

aende
Hi All, I will do some audio samples, if I can. I fitted coil tap switches for; North coil, humbucker, south coil for each pickup. With the East preamp the versatility has reached a new level! I can replicate my MM stingray almost exactly, switch to a Jazz and get Precision sounds with a bit of blend and a flick of a switch. Just install a set of on/off/on DPDT mini toggle switches; Green is the north coil/hot connection. Black and White should be joined together (North finish and South Start) - Red and 'bare' joined together for south finish and ground. Dead simple. For a simple set of mods, the versatility of the bass is staggering.
