i'm not the type of guy who does introductions so i'll keep this short and sweet.

nice forum. really nice forum indeed.
i've been lurking on talkbass.com for a while but everyone knows everything there, according to themselves at least, so it's lovely to come here and see so many down to earth folk who really know what they're talking about. i've only been playing a year or 2 but picking up that bass was one of the best things i ever did - gave me an outlet for stress/life and a much-needed new medium for expressing myself. even if it is just in my lounge with a few beers to keep me company at this stage, it suits me just fine.

i'm playing a Gretsch Junior Jet (gotoh 201 bridge, rewired/shielded) through a Fender Rumble 75 and i'm getting some gorgeous vintage tones.
