Kev Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 (edited) Up for sale/trade is my 2010 Warwick Dolphin Pro I bass. In very good condition, slightest player wear and a small mark near the nut, otherwise perfect condition. Plays wonderfully with a low action and lightweight for a Dolphin. Stunning Warwick, sale due to a move away from 4 strings. Great sounds on this bass, the option to split the Twin J at the back really provides so many different sounds, depending on the blend between the pickups. The Twin J solo'd is just funky as, being so close to the bridge. I'll miss it Has the new slim neck profile, no baseball bats here! Sublime to play, feels wonderful. Bass comes with the full User Kit and will come in a Hiscox Hardcase. andybassdoyle Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Thankfully not a 5 or this would be an expensive weekend. Stunning, Glwts
Kev Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) Bump. Trade for five strings welcome, try me will consider lower value 4 strings but will need a good chunk of cash my way. Edited April 21, 2014 by Kev
Kev Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 I am withdrawing this bass, in hindsight it isn't something I want to offer up unless I find a replacement first. Its a superb instrument and I may yet still have a place for it
MarkusWarwick Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Thank God, gives me time to start the new job and prize it from you after the summer hehe
Kev Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 Back for sale, guys. It just won't get played and I can't afford to have such an instrument as a piece of furniture! Although the woods are certainly finer than my coffee table
Kev Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 Bump FYI, bass is currently strung with LaBella Super Steps exposed core strings.
big rob Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 [sub]Pick it up off that gravel quick!!!!! what are you mad!!!! I have a 89 Dolphin pro 1 with the barts and i love it. There not cheap but this is a bargain, never played one with the MEC's however.[/sub]
Kev Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) I promise it has touched no gravel! Clever prop placement kept her safe from the stones It's a super bass, real step above the more common Warwick instruments. The MEC's have more growl and aggression than Barts, perfect for the Warwick sound really A cash sale is, of course, preferred, but will listen to all trade offers, worst I can do is say no! 4 strings with a narrower nut will be considered too but only with cash my way. Kev Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Had some lovely offers so far but nothing quite what I am looking for. Still available for the moment!
zomnius Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Kev, I really love the maple lines at the back... very destinatie looking...
Kev Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 Back holiday bump, perfect time to do some bass dealing
CPBass Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) Cant believe this is still available. Such a nice specimen, probably the nicest playing and sounding Dolphin they've made. That may not please early model purists but the R&D on this model has really come up trumps. I can say that as it used to be mine. Good luck Mr K Edited May 3, 2014 by Buzzardist
MarkusWarwick Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Yep, gotta say i'll be jealous of whoever gets this, its just come up at the wrong time for me :/
