Samson S-com 4 - Four Channel Compressor/Gate

Hey all

I'm looking at getting a dedicated compressor and these seem pretty good, what would the general opinion be for bass?

If I read the manual correctly there's no control over the attack and release of the compressors - for bass I think I'd want control over as many paramerters as possible - but I'm a bit of a knob-tweaker !

I'd deffo want to hear it in action first - any reason to get a four channel model rather than a dedicated mono one ?

Would probably go for the S3 way version
