Our new sofas have wenge feet. I kept correcting the sales woman who called then 'when-gee' feet as it should obviously rhyme with stonehenge (or at least the second syllable of stonehenge). In the end she agreed, after all, the customer is always right ;)

I expect there is someone out there who has a bass with a 'mapple' neck, though!

yes but ask anyone who lives in south east london and i think you'll find that pengee does indeed rhyme with wengee :P
