Westone P bass? Defined by a cardboard box?

Doesn't appear for me. I'm confused...

A missing string isn't the only fault anyway. It also needed a ferrule for one of the tuners.

Looks like a home-made parts bin special to me. Don't think there were any Westone P copies - if there were, I've never seen one. And Westones tend to say "Westone" on them, that being what makes them Westones.

Actually - having another look, I'm pretty sure the bridge is an old Schaller 2-point roller bridge. You hardly ever see these (don't think they've made them for years) and might well be worth a couple of bob in its own right.

Body looks very home made to my eye. Those square shoulders between the neck plate and horns are very school wood work class.
