Did you try playing in some other manner?[/quote] Well you could just tune it like a six string bass and play single notes, I did that it had a bit of an upright sound but didn't really have the volume. Hopefully I'll be able to hear mine above the noise of my son's mice squeaking. If anyone buys the Lucida, I'd very much like to hear reviews and sound clips. Dazed Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 Recently saw one of these in the flesh, although I don't think it was a thomann one. The chap had removed the strings and converted into a 4 string with bass tuning. When I saw it hanging on the wall, I thought it was a coracle ! Huge thing , big sound too.
