I love it's tones, it's playability, it's looks. I've had a 414 or 415 in my arsenal pretty much since they were launched. The 414 has seen off some tough competition in it's bid to be the 'go to' bass. Four and five string Stingrays, a Ric 4003 and even a Fender Custom Shop Jazz have been sold in preference to letting the 414 go. Unfortunately, my aging left shoulder is now struggling with it's 9.15lb mass, even with a four inch wide, cushioned strap and so, regretfully I'm looking to move it on so that I can fund a replacement. I'm really taken by the 7.6lb Bass Collection SB310 that's for sale on the forum but I am open to offers on trades with sub 8lb basses. It's in superb condition and has been well cared for.
