HowieBass
My 2000 era Tanglewood Curbow 5 has a luthite body. It was made by Cort and other than the curly 'T' on the headstock it's exactly the same bass as a Cort Curbow from that year... these are early run instruments with EQ fully active in both on/off slap switch settings. Annoying Twit
Hi HowieBass. Have you posted a full review of your Curbow?
Burg
My TW Curbow was definitely luthite. Bright red finish.
Annoying Twit
This sold for £175. That seems a quite reasonable price, but not a jaw dropping bargain.

HowieBass
Another Tanglewood Curbow for sale here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tanglewood-Curbow-Bass-Guitar-/131183698310?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item1e8b286186
Annoying Twit
For some reason, the pickup cover being the same colour as the body ruins the visual effect for me. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cort-Curbow-Active-4-String-Fretless-Bass-/231232695016?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item35d68aeae8
kodiakblair
With the Curbow body being so small it needs some kind of feature. There's none here. Years back Tune did a model with a pizeo bridge, but so it looked right they extended the neck. The Washburn version didn't And suffered as a result. Same problem with the Curbow, no defining feature. Might be the photo but I'm not awfy struck on the colour,in a pub gig or unless stagelights are great this is never getting seen. Just my 2p
HowieBass
A body coloured pickup cover is not standard on a Cort/Tanglewood Curbow - they're black with both the Mighty Mite and a Bartolini pickup.
Annoying Twit
I agree with Kodiakbear concerning the Tune & Washburn bass. The Tune looks really nice, but the Washburn looks a bit silly. @HowieBass - maybe the pickup cover can be removed, returning the bass to stock. kodiakblair
Yep Howie mines is white with the single Bart. They need something to break the small space. Just my opinion.
lemmywinks
I actually really like that one with the matching pickup, prefer it to the other one!
kodiakblair
AT I think Washburn ripped off Tune as much as they could with the ABT series. Extending the neck would have been too blatant so they went with the half measure, and that didn't work. Later they put the B32 out with a PJ just like the B30. Hardly a groundbreaking move, don't think they sold too well, see ABT B10s and B20s for sale just not B30s and I only know of one B32 ( it's in Germany ) .
