It's a late 70's Hondo Deluxe 734 SG with what I understand are original DiMarzio humbuckers. It's tatty and worn, as far as I can tell for one good reason, it plays and sounds amazing! I've gigged it myself in place of my fender. I tried it expecting it to be junk, but literally had to have it after only a few minutes playing. The action is fast and low, the neck comfy and the sound is spot on, smooth cleans with massive distortion tones. The tuners are a bit loose, but once in, hold tuning just fine. I'm selling this at £70 no offers, collection only from Cheltenham, or posted for £100 A true workhorse vintage gig machine that oozes cool. The inlays are adhesive and removable. gafbass02 Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 This is a LOT of vintage cool guitar for this money. It's not a plywood heap, its a genuine solid, low action, fast playing, great sounding guitar you can walk straight on stage with.
