broken_strings Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 (edited) Hi, here is my Ibanez soundgear SR-800 up for sale. It's a Korean made model from 1996. Ive owned it from new and used it solidly for the best part of five years, right up until it was retired and replaced with a Stingray in 2001. Since then it has sat in its gig bag unused. So even though it does have sentimental value i'd rather it was being used, hence the reason it is up today. It's in a good condition but was gigged heavily throughout my teenage years in punk rock bands, so does have a fair share of knocks, bumps and scrapes. The worst of which is some scratching behind the bridge (not sure how this happened) where the paint has lost its gloss due to the scratching. Also the paint surrounding the pick-ups has cracked. So all in all I would rate this a 6.5 out of 10. Three band eq is massively powerful, the neck is super slim, 24 fret with mother of pearl inlays. The bass could use a set-up as the action is on the high side, but nothing that a few fine adjustments with an allan key wouldn't cure. It comes with a tatty old gig bag.
