Vintage 5 String : thoughts on this.

I'm thinking of dipping into a 5 string & this looks ideal. £160 with free UK delivery.
Thought on the Vintage range..?
Don't think i've ever read a bad review & in terms of bang per buck must be one of the best value ranges out there.

once had a vintage gibson copy and it was pretty good considering it must have been 15 years old. Heard nothing but good things about the current range, some say they're even better value than the squier VM stuff so go for it

I have read that occasionally there are quality control fails in Vintage (brand) instruments. Every Vintage instrument I've ever played has been good. That's not a huge range, and it's more six strings than basses. But, I have read poor reviews of individual instruments.

I haven't read any bad reviews of the V1005 (which I think that one is) and it looks really nice. But, I thought I should mention that I have seen a sprinkling of poor reviews of the brand's instruments in general.

BTW: I think that's a very good price if it includes that lovely looking case.
