JazzBassfreak Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) So...I finally gave into my inner demons and the GAS and made another purchase. Money very well spent. All I can say is wow, the Bongo has lived up to my expectations plus more. Special thanks to Dingus for all the trouble he went through to get the bass to me even though UPS were being a pain, here's some pics of the beauty! Edited May 3, 2014 by JazzBassfreak Quote
JazzBassfreak Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 When it arrived, then after my little tweaking.. She sounds absolutely killer. I think it's actually murdered the love I had for Jazz Basses! Quote

Dingus Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Is this Basschat or What Not To Wear? Glad you like the Bongo, JBF, and I hope you have a lot of fun with it. Just be sparing with that active EQ , because with that 18 volt circuit , a little bit goes a long way. They are beautiful basses, and that one in particular is a lovely example. You won't see many other black ones in the U.K , either. Enjoy! Quote
HowieBass Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Gorgeous looking bass and I can well imagine it sounds as good as it looks! Happy NBD! Quote
