itsmedunc Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 You can just imagine Arnie reading out the description! I think his sales patter may well ensure that nobody will ever buy it! Breadcrumbs? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-Soviet-Vintage-Electric-Guitar-AELITA-230-BL-USSR-/171314682154?pt=Guitar&hash=item27e326992a Quote
Ktmman Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 "The design is extremely unreliable, can fly at a vigorous game with a string. " Haaaaaaaa yet another classic !! Quote

Beer of the Bass Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I managed to keep a straight face right up until it said "Please, look at the state of the photo." Quote
great harry Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 (edited) Who could resist with a description like that. I have always wanted an unreliable guitar subject to frequent breakdowns which will account for broken teeth. How do I pay? Edited May 4, 2014 by great harry Quote
great harry Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 (edited) I hate it when the photos don't back up the description. No sign of breadcrumbs or broken teeth. Disappointed. I will not be bidding after all. Edited May 4, 2014 by great harry Quote
Ktmman Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 (edited) If i were the business type i would collect all these listings and publish them in book form. You know , the xmas stocking filler type that the wife/kids buy you on fathers day/ xmas.. There are too many aimed at motoring and sport etc . Maybe there is a gap on the shelves for us muso's? Perhaps BassChat could publish it and bring in some revenue . I am sure many good humoured folk on here would be happy to buy it ... Any ideas for a title ??? Edited May 4, 2014 by Ktmman Quote
Ktmman Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 " The guitar is equipped with a spring-loaded plate with rubber mute the strings and creating "effect banjo." Translated = The bass has a muted bridge system giving it a classic stingray sound rather than a P bass thump.... - Quote
