theyellowcar
http://www.basscentre.com/bass-collection-power-bass/bass-collection-power-bass-wimbledon-green.html On the surface, it looks like the bass of my dreams - a passive Surf Green P-clone for less than £500. Made by Bass Collection offered via The Bass Centre. I've heard of the brand and the shop but that's as far as my experience goes. Does anyone have any experience with the Bass Collection 'Power Bass' that may convince me to get my card out/put it away? Should I just spend the extra £x00 smacks on the only Surf Green P Fender offer at the moment? First hand experience would be hugely appreciated. dannybuoy
Shame you missed out on this one! You never know, you could always PM to find who bought it and make them an offer! http://basschat.co.uk/topic/223464-fs-62-reissue-fender-precision-mij-sold/page__fromsearch__1

Grassie
I like the look of that, but that headstock looks like it could do with being trimmed down a bit.
TheGreek
I'm fairly sure that the company that builds these has nothing to do with the company which built the much loved SB range during the 80s/90s..

[/quote] I'm sure this is true. I think the modern stuff is probably decent for its price point, but it's suffering because it gets compared to the old SGC Nanyo basses, which are way above their price point and always were. Just my opinion, of course.
