Hi, im just looking for an amp, nothing too big and no more than £250 , the two that ive seen so far are this

TC BG250 208 for £249

and also this Hartke A70 for £165

A GK MB200 will do you nicely. Don't be fooled by the specs - it's loud.

Hi, yes its more of a combo i was looking for, i might use it for a small gig and band practice, but its going to be mostly just for the house

If is for the house I think pretty much any decent small combo will do the job. Gig wise I don't think either one will work unless you play very quiet on stage.

I have also heard the BG250 have less power then advertise, but someone can clarify this.

If there is nothing on here close to you, try Facebook. Just do a search in the bar, top left hand corner. The beauty of local is you can go and try before you commit. Second hand, much more "bang for buck".
For example, I know there are North West bass gear, South Wales Bassplayer, Bass market UK, Facebook groups.
