Pinball Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Hi, I'm in Barcelona next week and just wondered if there are music shops that are worth or gigs that are a look? Im working so my days are pretty full but I'm hoping to get some time to look at the city as its one of my favourite places to be Quote
toneknob Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Gary Willis lives there now. Drop him a line and ask for a lesson. Quote

PJT Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Didn't see any music shops, but it's a fantastic place day and night. This might help:http://www.timeout.com/barcelona/music/the-best-live-music-venues-in-barcelona Quote
paul j h Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 There are some on the outskirts of the city, I saw them on my way back to the airport (shame) two or three in close vicinity, never got to visit them though. There is a great CD/DVD shop just off the Ramblas loads of rarities and imports. My wife and I went there for our 30th wedding anniversary, the only gig we went to was a classical guitar recital in a small church, it was fabulous though. Quote
thisnameistaken Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Last time I was there, I found a guitar shop full of Gretschs in the Barri Gotic. There's a workshop making classical guitars in there somewhere too, but they have a sign in the window basically telling tourists to **** off. :-) Quote
