my amp fixed its self! streamliner.

The led's that light up the valves stopped working a good few months back. Tonight they started working again. Very happily surprised.

I was playing my 6string guitar through it at the time and had the gain pretty high. Felt a bit warmer than normal. Wonder if that has expanded something to do the self healing thing. Well chuffed....I can see my valves again....in a bright blue far out glow.

PS: sounds pretty good as a guitar amp for home practice as well as being a beautiful bass amp.

My blue leds go out on occasion as well but seem to repair themselves within a gig or two. I'm happy with that.

I had the entire contents of a can of Coke empty in a bag that also had a Boss tuner, an EWS Tri-Logic preamp and an MXR Bass Overdrive. I was literally pouring coke out like it was a teapot. Dead for three days then suddenly back to life. There are ghosts in the machine.

The blue light in the power switch on my gk mb112-ii did the same thing! Weird!

My Streamliner did that too, it has been great ever since the LEDs came back on !

Don't you know that coke cleans the circuits? You ended with free service on your gear with only a 3 day waiting period! What more could you have asked for?
