Great condition, except a small nick on the D string tuner.

Fantastic sounding bass, nice neck, and light.

Prefer to meet up. I'm in Dorset, but could do Basingstoke, Bristol or Bath areas.

Never tried one of these.how good are they?thanx

This is the first I've owned, and I guess its all subjective, but I think the build quality is excellent, nicely put together, great tonal variation.
They appear to have a good reputation that is incongruent with their monetary value.
I've spent far more on "lesser" guitars, but the market decides!

Much loved here for the fact that you get a really well built and balanced bass for not a lot of shekels. They were £600-800 back in the 80s, Wals and Overwaters were similar prices. I've owned all three, only the Bass Collection remains in my household.

This is a 5 string, fewer of these about AFAIK, in what looks like exceptional condition - you'll be hard pushed to find a better bass for £230, which is for many is about a months supply of fags. Given the choice between a great bass and a cough I know which way I'd spend my money.

Well I still can't get on with the long feel of the neck with the strap button position, so it'll have to go!
4 string fender shapes for trade or offers around £175
