Thunderbird Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Thought you would of had a fair bit of interest in this as there seems to be a lot of short scale love on the forum atm kind of bump
bigsmokebass Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 It is a rockbass though, nothing against them but I think some Warwicks aren't short of this price.

[/quote] That's true, but for folks who want a short scale... It's a lot of bass for the price, won't be sorry if it doesn't sell.
bigsmokebass Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 There's no doubt about it, I actually just received a Gibson SG bass (short scale) and for a big 6'6" and built like a sh*t house: I actually love it! What could help the sale is more pics and if you can get any footage/sound clips of it. If I had the cash..... Atb
Evil Undead Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 Looking for £275 firm now. Was £530 new so this is a bargain!

Number6 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Have a bump from one shorty player to another
Evil Undead Posted February 25, 2015 Author Posted February 25, 2015 Thanks Number6! Need the cash type bump
2 left thumbs Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 The band I play in tune a semitone down, a few songs in drop D So the E string would need to be able to go to C# Would the shorter scale cope, or would it be flappier than a flappy thing ?
Evil Undead Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 I guess it depends on the gauge of the strings. The current ones are very light so I wouldn't think so, but with 105's or 110's probably
paulb69 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 hello, i'll take the bass but i'd need it posting to Leeds. could we sort that out somehow. thanks, i've been after one for a while.
2 left thumbs Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Having looked on internet the general consensus seems to be short scale not good for drop tuning. If I had plenty of spare cash I would have it anyway. Can imagine it being gert lush to play. If you can't send to possible buyer I may have it of you at a later date though doubt it will still be around. best of luck with sale
