Has anyone ordered anything from these guys: www.instrumentsonline.nl/ ? They have something I fancy (if Google translate is anything to go by) but they aren't yer Thomann or one of the well known UK guys so I'm shooting a bit blind. Any experiences with returns etc would also be appreciated!

Thanks all
Rod

Hi Rod
I have no experience with that company, and their business address seems to be a home in a residential area (yay streetview). It appears a bit awkward to me, but they claim to supply many music schools.
I'd say shoot them a email with a number of questions that require more than average knowledge of their products. Disect their answer or post here (or pm me) so we can try to call hoax or honest :)

They do seem to be registered as a bonafide business, from what I read in the conditions page.

Hi Bolo
Thanks for your response. I'll fire them an email and keep you up to speed with what's afoot. I'm intrigued that they have a number of B&CH (Bach) products up which Bach are out of stock and aren't making anymore. So they've either got stock or an out of date website
Cheers!

The residential area bit is probably just because it's a small firm that has the administrative bit at home. They may have storage rooms somewhere else, though it is also entirely possible that they first order in when a product is already sold.

They do allow fetching, by appointment and during limited time frames, so it looks to me as if this is a somewhat limited business.
To me it looks like a person having an extra job - doing this in the evenings, but still like a serious one. I do believe the bit about them selling to schools and music schools. In fact to me it looks like they specialise in that direction, which seems logical to me.

They claim that everything that you can see in the webshop either is in stock or will arrive very soon. That last bit seems to me to be open to interpretation, and might also mean that they think they can get hold of it fast (not only that it's already is on its way).

Try this guy for Bach instruments if instruments online doesn't work out for you. I know him from the dutch version of basschat: basgitaarforum.nl and he talks with BaCH regularly.

If it's the non-reversed T-bird you mean, then better hurry.
The guy mentioned by Bolo has just told that those are definitely not coming back.

Thanks for your input guys! I've dropped a line to Rob at Number One - who helped kick the whole NR Thunderbird clone/tribute thing off - to see what he has left.
