Love Bobby Vega - I was originally drawn to him because of his pick technique, but as you say, he's got the lot...

Fabulous player and grooves to die for.
I sit there agog at some of the stuff he gets out that stack Knob jazzer !

Great vid, thanks for posting the link as I hadn't come across it before. Bobby Vega is a unique player with a great groove, not many people could replace Rocco Prestia, using pick style no less, but BV did, admirably. I've not heard of the guitar player in that clip (very tasteful though he seems) but I remember Prarie Prince from his time in The Tubes, what a difference in styles from then to that video; a very underrated drummer.

He's been the drummer in Todd Rundgrens touring band for ages.
