Conan
OK, it's a bit of a showcase, but just watch and listen to how many different tones he gets and how many techniques he uses in this short clip... Muzz
Love Bobby Vega - I was originally drawn to him because of his pick technique, but as you say, he's got the lot...
allighatt0r
He's fantastic. Really love this pick technique. EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hx2lza1Rb0U Edited May 14, 2014 by allighatt0r

ezbass
Great vid, thanks for posting the link as I hadn't come across it before. Bobby Vega is a unique player with a great groove, not many people could replace Rocco Prestia, using pick style no less, but BV did, admirably. I've not heard of the guitar player in that clip (very tasteful though he seems) but I remember Prarie Prince from his time in The Tubes, what a difference in styles from then to that video; a very underrated drummer. ezbass
A bit more BV for you all, it's a bit disjointed in places (it's a Bass Player Live event) but some lovely grooves http://youtu.be/Ls8S-FZgtU0
