Xeno Jono Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 (edited) Hi Guys and Gals, I am thinking of swapping out the neck on my '95 MiM J-bass for a 70's style one. Purely for cosmetic reasons, i love the look of the wide inlays. I have seen a couple of 70's replica one son the Bay retailing for about £100, but these look as though they might cheapen my guitar. Are they any good or will they be detrimental to the quality of my bass? I have a feeling that they might Should i maybe save my pennies and get a decent one? Or just can the idea altogether?
