Bill
Hi guys, I've recently recorded my first bass solo tune and wanted a good amount of reverb and delay on it to sound like it does in the recording.. And with the help of logic plug-ins it was achievable, how would I get this sound live through using bass effects? https://soundcloud.c...he-endless-hall Thanks in advance, Bill. badboy1984
Chorus, Reverb and Delay would be a start point. I use EBS Chorus and Reverb and I can get a similar sound to the clip.
bakerster135
Nice long plate-style reverb is what you need. Check out the Neunaber Wet, Strymon Blue Sky or even Source Audio Dimension 2.
Garethp15
I'd say whatever reverb you choose, make sure you've got a compressor at the start of the chain, bring out those harmonics!
dannybuoy
Zoom multi - compressor, chorus, reverb, delay all in one box! In particular, the B1on/B1xon, as well as being the cheapest, has the best selection of fx for what you need - most of the modulation/reverb/delays from the MS-70CDR and the compressors and bass specific fx from the B3/Ms-60B. For £49 delivered, I would try the B1on as your first stop! http://www.soundsliveshop.com/p/Zoom_B1on_Bass_Effects_Pedal/ZOOM-B1ON?CAWELAID=720016190000001193&CAGPSPN=pla&catargetid=1831862285&cadevice=c&gclid=CKz-p9uSuL4CFSLlwgod13cAlw Edited May 19, 2014 by dannybuoy
Bill
Thanks for the responses guys, i was leaning toward's the TC hall of fame (regular or mini) but wasnt fully sure which one! will check out the recommended pedals :-)
adamlunt
TC Hall Of Fame has a nice modulated reverb sound. I think one of the EHX reverbs has a "Flerb" setting which is flanged reverb. Would sound a bit eerie.
Bill
Looks like I'm going to go with the TC hall of fame for this guys.. As it's a great price and to be honest I suppose I don't need to display the ''exact'' same effect as the recorded tune, the reverb alone will be enough I'm thinking.
