basshead56
Spotted these last night. http://www.ampeg.com...amp/splash.html Don't know if they look as nice as the the previous incarnations. but the wedge design is cool I guess. Also, finally the option to add an extension cab if required! Interested to see how they'll compare to the new Fender Rumble offerings. badboy1984
I had bad experience with the older BA series. I've only play 2 model which are BA108 and BA115. Hope the newer ones is better, but one thing I don't like the newer model is the look ....... doesn't look like an ampeg to me .....
Lozz196
I love the tone of my BA108, so having more options including gain (don`t think the lowest powered one get this) is great.
badboy1984
Don't get me wrong, the bad experience I'm referring to is not the tone of the amp. I'm keep getting a weird buzz noise on the when a low note is play, is more to do with the cab instead. Some people don't have the same problem, I just got a bad one. action_panzer
I love my 115HP, but my god it weighs a ton for a combo. I agree these don't look very Ampeg...
basshead56
I guess they look a bit like the old blueline b2 &.b3 combos form late 80's/90's. Still, given the iconic looks of the SVT and portaflex stuff, you'd have thought they might have made these a bit more 'Ampeg' looking Fender's taken the Rumble and made look like an actual Fender amp, why can't Ampeg do the same with their entry level models... waynepunkdude
Ugliest Ampeg I've ever seen.
JapanAxe
Anyone heard the Bass Scrambler in action?
Marvin
I don't like the styling at all. The control panels look like something from a 90s Peavey.

badboy1984
I'm not inspire to buy them to behonest even if it sound pretty decent. New fender combo kinda inspire me to behonest. If ampeg want to change the cosmetic of the BA combo, they could probably do some portaflex style of combo/small combo. theyellowcar
Glad I bought one of the new Rumbles instead of waiting for these. To echo everyone else they're pretty uninspiring. The tilt would be useful for home but they aren't really doing anything new, and they are the worst looking Ampegs I've ever seen.
Marvin
I think if I were Ampeg I'd go back and look to redesign the 'outside'. The Rumble series from Fender is a lot more desirable.
