LED Strip Lights in Cab

Has anyone tried putting LED strip lights around the inside edge of their cab?

I've got some stuff on order from ebay that I'm going to experiment with - I'll post pics if it works

I've had these on my amp for a long time, some of the segments have died as you can see - but it's the best way I know of reminding self to turn amp off after use!

I just got some el tape for mine, not done it yet but the actuall tape is awesome. Just like the stuff used in tron legacy :^) ill post some pics when i have done it.

Bright blue leds are quite bad for your eyes. \sorry for the buzzkill but green, yellow, reds etc are kinder on yer glasballs

That looks ace (Someone already did the brilliant thing...). I am a sucker for anything shiny but it's not just the lights that look cool, the overall effect is really nice.

I have some plans for using black light LEDs and UV reactive paint.

The lights are 12V, so just a standard 12V adapter does it. I'm using a 5A adapter but 2A would do it easily. I've wired a standard adapter input into the handle of the cab, so I just plug it straight into that - same standard connection as the power for an effects pedal. Does the job!
