Up for sale:

I never thought I would do this, but sometimes one needs to make decisions (also hard ones)
I have decided to let my nr1 bass go a Tobias Classic 6 serian 400s dates to 1986.
This is the best bass by Michael I ever played, held, heard or owned, and I played quite a few also the current US MTD line Michael Tobias produces. If someone talks about holy grail and such, then I guess this is just that.
Anything works, goes and sounds right no matter how you set the controls and that is someting you rarely encounter.
This one has the sought after older type TCT with an original and very rare passive tone control usable in both active and passive mode like e.g. A fodera. IT's a really flexable preamp very natural and organic somehow, don't know why they make them like that anymore... The bass has been used by a guy who played cruiseships for years and years and I was told it was the only bass he used, can you imagine what reportoire it had to handle...
It has some minor wear and some hairline cracks in the clear coat but nothing that influences playing, frets have great life action is set really low... This should go to a Tobias enthausiast.
The bass will be features in a bass beautique book, that I believe will be published this year or early next year.. Really cool.

Specs
Alder body wings
Flame maple neck with purpleheart stringers
Pau ferro board
Dual truss rod (you'll get the right wrench with it to adjust it)
The neck has the asymetrical neckshape really comfortable even for a sixer
34" scale
16,5 to 17mm spacing the bridge was hand carved and the space between watch string is identical thats why there is change in the spacing from sting to string. You might think it's kinda tight I did too but it's actually really comfortable to play.
Bass weighs in at 5kg
Original brown tolex case
Included are the std model knobs which are like new

This is one of my dearest instruments I'm putting on the block, I wont sell it for cheap, but I can guarantee is worth every penny.

Fixed price 2350 pounds

For sale

My main gig bass, a fantastic playing and sounding pre Ernie Ball stingray from '78
The bass has that typical pre EB sound is not that agressive or upfront as some are, it has a very nice growly and usable tone, perfect for anything from blues, soul to gospel.
The bass had a refin long ago in butterscotch.. It was not a bad job actually took me quite some time to discover the bass used to be white. The bass weighs in at 4,3 kg which is light for an ash bass from this era. The neck profile is where these shine, the neck is really a joy it fits my hands perfectly.

The back of the neck has been refinned not the best work ive seen tho no harm is done to the shape and the heal where the stamps etc are of the neck was never touched which is good. It had a refret so frets are in good shape finish on the fretboard and headstock are original.
All hardware is original and it has the pre eb preamp and pickup.
This is a players bass that will not dissapoint, I was totally converted once playing this one so... What else can I say...

Price 1350,- pounds

For sale:

Elrick Evolution 4 Gold.
I had this one in on a trade, I never had one of these before and I was pleasantly surprized.
I love the neck on these the workmanship is really grade A, and the the weight.. I think this one is just over 3 kg! I can play this all night long without any pain.
I mainly used the neck pickup only as it has a sort of lovely Pino P bass sound but a bit dryer.. I don't know lovely bass and lots of sounds possible, great slaptone and pretty nice electronics aswell.
Bass has a myrtle burl top I believe and ofcourse matching heastock real light swamp ash body and three piece maple neck.
The bass has wear but because it's oiled waxed I know you can get almost everything out and it will look like new again.
Only reason I'm selling it is my 66 jazz will come back from restoration next month...

Price 1300,- pounds
