Handwired Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I have quite a few vintage G&L's and know full well how good that first generation SB2 you have sounds. I can't imagine a Precision doing Blues any better than it though? Neck pickup, tone rolled slightly - Boom!
highwayone Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Someone buy this beaut so he can buy his old p bass back from me!

JapanAxe Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 This would probably be as close as I'd ever get to a Jazz! Sadly my bass rack runneth over... GLWTS
gary mac Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 They are cracking instruments and it's a shame they tend to get overlooked, often in favour of lesser basses.
richardd Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 True Gary, Strange really, as these were made by the man in this era 83,So more of a Fender than post 65's,But with the wrong decal it would seem for most.
CamdenRob Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Things are slow right now... hardly anything is moving.
dannybuoy Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I don't get why some people withdraw things when they don't sell quickly? Why not just leave it up here until it goes - someone might eventually come along searching for one!
JapanAxe Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I refer to my post above. Plenty of interest here, and in an ideal world my bass rack would run the whole length of one wall of my house, but I have had to draw the line at 4
