spongebob
Thought I'd post a picture of my new-to-me Geddy Jazz. It's about 6 months old, immaculate condition, got it end of last week. It's one of the new MIM ones. I've had a couple before, a few years back, and stupidly sold them on. TBH I can't see, feel or hear even the slightest difference between the MIJ and MIM. It is exactly - from memory obviously - the same as what I had before, which is what I wanted as a back-up for my main Ric now (pictured next to the GL in the Gear Porn forum on the sofa). It even seems to weigh a very similar amount. Maybe I'm going mad, but having owned a couple of MIA Standard Jazz's over the years, I actually prefer the feel and tone of the GL's. I've sometimes struggled with Jazz necks (the Road Worn I could not play - just the way it was shaped dug right into my forefinger), but although super-slim (especially compared to the Ric) it plays really well and super smooth. ......and it's got the Badass! Here's a couple of pics to prove ownership...... Edited May 25, 2014 by spongebob

Wylie
I love mine. The way the neck is contoured is perfect (for me). The black and white makes it look ready for a formal affair.

spongebob
Thanks chaps, must admit I'm loving this one. So easy to get a great Geddy tone as well, really cutting. Will be taking this to rehearsal tomorrow!
