Is this "relatively" cheap because it's a set neck?
Pity Norwich is 4.5 hours each way for me . Oh and it's a 5 string

The SN basses are cheaper than the NT and obviously more than the BO but that doesn't make them worse/better, as some folk just prefer the tone. I've owned the (4 string) version of ALL of these Dolphin basses and I found the neck of the SN was chunkier than the Pro I but of all of the three models I have retained the BO Pro II... the cheapest by far but to my ears, hands and eyes the best of the three! Very nice, has tone chambers too.

Price is okay, not cheapest I have seen recently, but then again fiver dolphins are a bit rarer. Get him down to £800 and its a good deal.

i had one of these with a piezo in the brigde too and it was wesome ,
