What's your beef with it? Lots of photos, 100% positive over 968 feedbacks, account in regular use. Some non-original parts. Not asking for crazy bank transfers.

Isn't it a stupidly low BIN? I would've thought these'd go for £500+..? I don't know much about vintage Fenders, but it just seemed too good to be true!

I've seen quite a few late-70s musicmasters selling for £250-£400. Few seem to go much over that.

One UK one failed to sell at £300 recently. One sold for £430, but to be fair it did have a rather hefty looking flight case with it. A recent US one sold for £240.

Seems fair according to recent history.

 woah!

fair enough, looks like I might be getting a slight case of GAS in the next 12hrs!

That's just stupidly cheap, you can't get a budget bass at my local shop for that sorta money!!

As an idea of value - Vintage and Rare have a 71 Musicmaster with a stripped finish and 1 changed Capacitor at £395. The value of the musicmasters seems to be very low currently (I've seen the Squier ones go for around the same price as a 70s Fender one!)

Phil, it's a Musicmaster, and the auction is in America. It's really not that good a deal.

This sold on ebay not so long ago, and I vaguely remember there being some kind of issue with it - a non-vintage body or something. Or maybe I'm just imagining that. Anyone else remember the auction?

Edit: Maybe it was just my imagination - there was a thread about the original sale http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...;hl=musicmaster

I picked mine up for £200 from a local shop, but the finish had been stripped. So its sort of in the right ballpark I guess.
