fbass strings in the UK?

Been trawling string sites and shops, and can't seem to find any Fbass strings for sale in the UK.

Just wondered if anyone else had this problem, or if they just bought direct from US from Fbass?

Have you tried [url="http://www.bassgear.co.uk"]www.bassgear.co.uk[/url]? They sell the basses, so I imagine they could source the strings without much trouble.

Cheers for the thought - I have already checked out their website and they dont list them in their strings section.

Guess I'll put in a shipment from the US as may as well deal direct.

I used La Bella Supersteps on mine. Only difference from memory was that the Fbass branded ones had a 128 B as opposed to the 130 in the La Bella pack.

I know that La Bella definitely make those strings for F Bass.

We did stock them at BassGear but demand was very low. People generally didn't like the feel of the exposed core strings, especially the B and E.

We can easily get more though. Wouldn't take long to arrive

If you got them direct from F Bass they wouldn't be from the US, they'd be from Canada.
