[/quote] it is active! it is volume/volume and the tone controls: i thought was just a weird 2 band eq but now you come to mention it i think you're right on the button (excuse the pun). It seems to be an overall tone control and bass boost - it all suddenly makes sense to me now! lol very cool sounding bass, and thanks to Cosmo' now very controllable.. [/quote]no I don't know its age but i can't see this model on sale anywhere online, only similar basses with soapbar p'ups.
