SgtD
Anybody had the same problem? and how to go about resolving it. The clip that fits around the outside of the nut has snapped off and gone missing.(pic on left) The clip itself is part of the neck/head (pic on right) The nut itself is fine and stays in place until I change strings and then it falls out! 😕 Don't really want to lose the nut as well New nut maybe? But not sure how a new one would fasten on. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks.
aende
Hiya, This happened to my corvette - been like this for years. I would say 'don't panic' - still okay. You have to replace the entire nut, you can get them from Warwicks webstore, they are simple to fit.
lemmywinks
Common problem on the plastic Just-a-Nut, mine did this not long after I bought it. Just be careful when you change strings! Thomann also sell them and you can also get the brass ones IIRC.
rmcki
Replace with "Just A Nut III" Took me 3-4 mins and it was done, there is a video tutorial http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wjCuHGLB-1I
3below
One of mine has suffered the same fate as yours. As long as I change strings one at a time it stays put so I have not bothered to replace it. You may be lucky as well.
gafbass02
Every single Warwick I've owned with type of nut did just that, nothing to worry about boss
