Kev
thinking of selling my 2 cheaper basses so i can buy a decent 2nd bass instead, so this is a feeler Iv said lots of good things about these basses on the forum, i think they are brilliant. GORGEOUS mahogony body with a 5 piece mahogany/maple thru neck, string thru body and top load options, has such a warm sound its really nice, controls volume volume tone tone, the tone knobs being very responsive for a passive instrument. neck is very easy to play for a 6 string, not chunky and not too wide. Set up nicely, strings a bit of a mis match but the sound is even on all strings so it doesnt seem absolutly necessary to change strings. for the money these cost they are brilliant value for money, and you'l be hard pressed to find another bass in the price range with wood like this! control cavity has tons of room too if you were to wanna put a preamp in. £200 collected from Bristol, will ship for £220 cheers Edited August 3, 2008 by BassManKev

budget bassist
Uh, not to be cheeky or anything but i believe the grind has bubinga wings with a wenge/maple neck? I'm pretty sure it has the same specs as my toby. If so, nice basses for the money Good luck with the sale. EDIT: sorry imbuya wings but you were right about the neck, mahogany and maple. Still similar though Edited July 20, 2008 by budget bassist
