I want to see everything invicta59, how often do you get a good eclectic mix of double bass stuff all in one place?!

Very true... although the big minus is that it could easily turn into a 6 hour bass solo... and I dunno about you but 12 bars is enough for me! (24 if played by a virtuoso ) ((2 bars if played by me))

Definitely set to come now. In addition to my previous, I'll be bringing a Tricky Audio Fearless F112 (wedge) . I can't answer any detailed questions about them.. I'm a bass player, not a scientist, but hopefully Guy will furnish me with some information sheets to bring along too.

It sounds like it's gonna be a great day. I seriously thought about cancelling a gig I have on the 4th in Germany and family holiday in tenerife starting on the 5th, but that would leave me jobless, single and homeless 😉

Well, it's a week away - in fact by now it will have finished. So could yous go to the Events page and copy/edit/paste to add or erase your name so that we get an up-to-date list of those who are coming. Walk-ins will still be welcome but it would help to have the best idea of the attendance numbers. I'll get in touch with the hotel early next week to make final arrangements: I hope they'll be able to provide tea/coffee and there is a bar next to our room which sells harder stuff and, I think, eats.

It'll be £10 each to cover our costs. Looking forward to meeting everybody and sampling the wonderful DB wares.

I'm really looking forward to it, my ab pedal has arrived at my parents as I'm in Spain but I should be able to get it set up to use both the mag pickup and the kk bass max together with a shuttle 3.0 and 1x10 cab on Sunday.
