flamencito Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) I had Gerald Marleaux made the bass for me in 2003. I used to play it with E-C tuning (incl. D-tuner on E string) and it sounded great with it. For the sale I changed it to B-G tuning (changed the tuner, but the D-tuner is included in the sale) and it sounds great as well. Very low action is possible. Bass (4,2kg) hangs very comfortable is a dream to play. The ramp is fixed with double-sided tape and can be removed completely. Bass has an active 3band preamp, passive tone control (all on two stacked knobs), PU blender, master volume (push/pull to activate the eq) and a switch for the bridge pu (single coil/humbucker) 19mm stringspacing at the bridge. Body is mahagony, the top Sonokeling (rosewook type), fingerboard is Morado The bass is in a good state, has slight signs of use at the back. Comes with the leather strap and security locks Manufacturer's site (incl. sounds and video): http://www.marleaux-..._signature.html New price: 3430,-€ £ 1300 plus shipping from Germany Edited June 19, 2014 by flamencito
