krispn Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 (edited) Gonna hang onto this for now as the other bass I was hoping to replace this with has sold. To be honest its no hardship. Cheers for all the positive comments and interest. Edited June 15, 2014 by krispn
timmchale2009 Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Such a shame the necks too thin for me because that is all shades of stunning!
molan Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I love the idea if this and you just know the mods will be absolutely perfect - Martin P is such a great luthier

I did the rest.

smaz Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 If I hadn't bought one of these on Saturday, I'd have snapped it up! I tried to get this the first time round. Fantastic basses...
krispn Posted June 2, 2014 Author Posted June 2, 2014 (edited) Yeah I'm not really wanting to sell it but the 55-01 with Nordstrands that came up a while ago has caught my eye. I feel really quite at home on a 5 string as it turn's out and other than selling my foot I can't really afford £500 quid on a second bass If this doesn't sell it no hardship to keep and yeah Dave excellent work. Its a beaut! Whats not to like right!! Edited June 2, 2014 by krispn
Simon. Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Damn, damn, damn! I've lusted after this bass since the days when OBBM had it! Why does it always resurface when I'm flat broke? Dave - do you still have the pearloid plate for it? It looked awesome with that on.
Dusty Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 (edited) Beautiful, having just picked up another Bob Glaub P/J (that's 5 now) this morning, I'm going to have to let this one pass GLWTS Edited June 10, 2014 by Dusty
Denzel Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I used to own a stock Skyline Duck Dunn. Fit and finish on these basses is very good. I also really liked the speed and comfort of the jazz neck. A joy to play. The J pup mod can only be a good thing as well. Good luck with the sale bud!
krispn Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 Thanks all - you're PM's have been replied to!

lou24d53 Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Have one of these also - without the mods though - and yip, I agree, they're lovely basses. Can't decide on the black or white pick guard, I keep chopping and changing between the two. GLWTS Bump.
krispn Posted June 14, 2014 Author Posted June 14, 2014 lou is you JO DP Ltd the green one? Tasty basses them Laklands!
