[/quote] unfortunately i have never played a German Thumb so can't compare the sound but if they sound anything like this PS i am now gasing for one of them now It really is a fantastic bass though,i love it. [/quote] No bother mate, I was just listening back to old recording I made when I had a German Thumb BO 5 string. There's a very distinct tone to the bass, which you can't dial out, but luckily it's a good tone and it really cuts through. I know the PS versions have the same body wood, pickups and hardware, so was just wondering if that same voice is present. I don't play long scale basses anymore, but if I did, I'd already have one of these PS thumb basses, they look amazing value!
