molan
The Rezillos used to be great fun live, saw them a few times back in the late '70's I wonder if their baby still does good sculptures, yeah? http://youtu.be/CKly-dga3Nw Note the pre Human League Jo Callis on guitar
BigRedX
Looking forward to this gig a lot. The Rezillos were one of my favourite bands of the late 70s/early 80s. Not surprising that Jo Callis ended up with the Human League, there were so many possible points of contact, not least that HL's management were based in Edinburgh. KevB
Coincidentally I was checking out a jam night at the same venue last night so I was playing on the same stage you'll be on. It's a smallish room but has a lot of hard surfaces so the sound pings about a bit, with enough bodies in there to soak it up it'll be alright though, have a good 'un Mike. There's also the advantage that they run their own little music shop counter in the venue so if anyone needs strings, leads etc they will have something suitable to flog you on site. BigRedX
Thanks! We've played at the Dog House before (supporting Mad Sin) and know that you mostly need to disregard the crappy FoH sound during the sound check. Really looking forward to this gig now... BigRedX
We played "Stay Sick" in Brighton 2 years ago. Both 51m0n and Billy Apple were in attendance. A great time was had by all and we'd love to come back if we can find a suitable venue/promoter to give us a gig.
