German DB - Musima Laminate DB 3/4 size £700

Hello all,

My Musima laminate GDR era double bass for sale to fund a new DB. Not sure on age - probably from the 1970s? Not sure if fingerboard is ebony, but it certainly does not leave black marks on the fingers like cheaper died boards - not sure what it is

It has had a significant amount of work from luthier Laurence Dixon - fingerboard planed, sticky neck varnish removed, new pin, new bridge and an overall health check.

It has had a neck break in it's life but haven't we all ….nonetheless it has a resonant thump that works very well indeed.

A perfect jazz beater bass in other words.

I'm based near Ashford, Kent. Bass has no case.
