The latest version has USA Vintage (Alnico) pickups which are much better than the 2006-2010 ceramic pups. I still wonder that Fender never thought of this bass a long time ago, it looks, sounds and feels like such a natural evolution from the Jazz. Edited June 5, 2014 by Grissle Quote
