RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Looks so easy to use on the you pube clips. Even easier than garageband. What are your opinions , if any?
lowdown
It's not a DAW though, it's an Audio Interface (no midi in and out). Seems like it has a few nice features when used with Reason. But for other DAW users it looks a bit limited.
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Thanks for that. That's the thing tho ' . I'm not bothered about the limitations tbh. Just after something quick and easy to record.
Skol303
I don't have one myself... although I use Reason software... but it gets very positive reviews and can be used with any DAW, just like any other interface. One of its best features appears to be a 'no clip' feature, which helps to ensure you don't record things too loud and distort (aka clip) the signal. Comes with Reason Essentials, which allows you start recording stuff and writing tracks 'straight out of the box' (and is very easy to use). Definitely worth a look. But again, I'm biased

You don't get any Midi, and there are other units out there with more inputs/outputs and better monitoring for less dosh. The clipping feature looks good though. I think there is a review knocking about. BigRedX
It's bus powered only, so may be unreliable with some USB set ups. What over USB peripherals will you have attached when using this interface?
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Just USB keyboard. All I want to do really , is record bass/ iPad / USB keyboard . I think that's all;) This looks easy to use for that ..
BigRedX
What about QWERTY keyboard? Mouse? Printer? etc... Ideally both the audio interface and the musical keyboard need their own dedicated USB socket (and not one from a USB hub) does you Mac have enough?
