Telebass
The black bass was originally a 2003/4 Standard MIM. Has US 1994 pickups, new guard, and that neck originally fitted when the first neck went bad. The sunburst is a Squier VM Fretless, SD SPB-2 and VM77 neck being the only mods. Telebass
Well, after a day of practice, I can say that this bass is entirely up to expectations. One odd thing - it has skinny vintage frets. I like them, but the advent of blocks and binding was the marker point for the bigger frets in late '66, so inaccurate on that score. Has also taken a little more weight off the bass. Telebass
And it gigged beautifully.
Telebass
The VM77 neck profile is very slim, close to an American Special Jazz. Me likey!
