Silvia Bluejay Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Epic gig! I'll re-post this in the Live Photos & Vids section later, together with some pics I'm working on as we speak Quote
Highfox Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 lol, He'll be wanting a guest spot every week now. You guys handled it well.. I do hate that sometimes when it happens. Quote
throwoff Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Punter seems to be having a laugh with it and not pissed falling into your gear etc. I would be pretty happy with that happening to me tbh. Quote
throwoff Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Haha, never but I'm getting up on stage with the next band I see. Quote
Weststarx Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Excellent! How did he get away with the cigarette in doors as well? Quote
Mr Fretbuzz Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Typical, where's his carer when you need him :-D Quote
discreet Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 It's never wise to stop taking your medication without consulting your GP first. Quote
Marvin Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 It's exactly this sort of audience behaviour that's devaluing live music. It should be frowned upon and the interloper banned from all future live events. Quote
KevB Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Come on guys it was a bit of quo ffs . I've had a trio of girls take over my mic at a wedding to do out of time and out of tune backing vox before now, handle it right and they soon get bored and move on. Quote
HowieBass Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 It never would have happened if you'd played 'Pictures Of Matchstick Men' Quote
KevB Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I've actually started jamming 'Pictures' at an open mic with a guy, not sure half the audience even know what it is Quote
HowieBass Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) Someone I used to hang out with told me she suggested the Pictures riff to Death In Vegas guitarist Ian Button when they were dating and that's why Rossi earns a song credit for Death In Vegas's 'Scorpio Rising'. I took this with a pinch of salt at first because she also told me she'd been photographed by David Bailey which I didn't believe... until I saw the prints with his name on them! Dad3353 Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Someone should tell him he's far too loud, though..! Quote
Maude Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 He's better than a lot of guitarists I've seen, I didn't hear a bum note from him and no extended solo Quote
Stealth Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Was that this weekend for Johns Birthday ? Great venue many crazy nights there ! Quote

Happy Jack Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 Is he playing the inflatable beer can? Quote
FuNkShUi Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Haha nice. Yeh bit of harmless fun i think. You handled it well though!! The worst case of this ive had to deal with is drunken people grabbing tambourines. They usually play to their own beat and time. Can make it quite difficult to know where you are!! Quote

He arrives every year - sort of an institution if you like . Maybe this thread can be pinned , and be a sort of ongoing thing , where people post pictures or footage of punters with the band . Quote
cameltoe Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Girls tend to try and play the drums at our gigs. No idea why. Quote
