Harv Le Marv Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 For sale is this great Fender Telecaster bass, all original parts, in a lovely vintage blonde finish. The serial number is 351459, and I'm told it is 1972. It's in pretty good condition for its age, just a few little knocks that I've tried to show in the pictures. The main one being the small crack in the scratchplate, at the end of the neck in between the pick up. The bass has an absolutely amazing sound and is incredibly loud! It's got loads of bottom end, but the tone is even all across the range of the bass. Turn the volume up full and you get a lovely growl from from the humbucker. It's great fun to play too, with a really smooth and easy neck. I've had it for about 13 years and bought it from Vintage and Rare on Denmark Street, but I don't know the history before that. It's gigged a bit but I haven't used it as much over the last 5 years. I can supply a hard case but it's not original. I'm based in Eastbourne and am happy for anyone to come and look at it.
