I've tried an Earthbound Iron Pig, Rat Tail and other distortions and fuzzes and sold them all - I'v always found there is a discernible low end loss - which is to be expected. The Rusty Box gave me a really gritty, aggressive tone that always cut through but there was always that low end punch. It is a quality pedal that I would not be selling if there were more hours in the day
